“The ache for home lives in all of us. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.”
Maya Angelou.

My work focuses on helping you to explore your emotional experience, and to uncover how early life events may inform your current ways of being. Whether your goal is to make positive changes in certain aspects of your life, or to work through difficult experiences and feelings that are causing anxiety and stress, I aim to create a collaborative, non-judgemental space for you to bring your authentic self.

It’s normal to experience low mood sometimes, but when it becomes a constant, it can be exhausting. Working through old behaviour patterns that no longer help you, and understanding your past, can open the door to self-acceptance and healing. This can lead to stronger relationships and a more fulfilling, enjoyable life.

I work with adults of all ages. I’m especially interested in how cultural and societal expectations shape us; race, ethnicity, gender, class can all play an important part in how we show up in the world. I have worked extensively with people trying to make sense of belonging to more than one culture, including complexities of generational cultural issues or being dual heritage/mixed race.

I hold awareness of difference and offer a confidential space without judgement irrespective of ethnic background, class, gender.
