I am an experienced BACP registered Integrative Therapist with a Diploma in Counselling from The Minster Centre; Integrative training means that I draw upon various approaches depending on what meets your needs. I am particularly influenced by psychodynamic, relational and embodied practices, and my background in science leads to a natural interest in understanding how these theories are rooted in neuroscience.  This means that we will look at early life experiences and relationships, and make links through somatic awareness and our therapeutic relationship. Through a collaborative process, we can begin to bring unconscious patterns into awareness and take meaningful steps towards change and healing.

I have worked with adults (18+)  of all ages. As well as my private practice, I have worked in low cost services offering short and long term therapy, including a low cost service specialising in inter-cultural therapy.

My clinical experience covers a range of issues including anxiety, depression, loneliness, relationship issues, ADHD, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, cultural pressures, identity, belonging, racial trauma, childhood trauma, attachment issues, bereavement, menopause, Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), work-related difficulties.

I am especially interested in working with issues around identity and belonging, which can disproportionality impact clients from dual heritage and minority backgrounds.
